Suikerbossie has magnificent views overlooking the valley of Hout Bay with Chapman's Peak and the bay below. Flanked on the west by Llandudno beach, with Table Mountain forming the backdrop to the Restaurant. Provideing a wonderful atmosphere for your Wedding day or Function where pre-drinks and starters can be served on the lawns, while photographs are taken.
Weddings and Functions are co-ordinated by owners' David and Miki Smith, who have operated this successful restaurant since 1990. Junior partner Clive Biggs, joined the team from Hildebrand and has 12 years experience as a head chef. The team is completed by the friendly front-of-house team headed-up by manageress Billie-Jean Snyders.
A Kosher kitchen was built in 1998 (catering is supervised under the Beth Din), which allows the restaurant to host Kosher weddings/ functions.
The Venue is also Halaal Friendly- no certification could be granted by the Muslim Judicial Council due to the fact that we have a fully licensed bar on the premises. All meat is purchased from a Halaal butcher.
