A popular menu option is the Famous Carvery Selection Buffet; give yourself and your guests a wide and sumptuous
choice on the day.
Carvery Menu
Starter [served to table]:
Hout bay snoek pate / chicken liver pate / choice of soup

Main course [Buffet]:
Roast lamb spiked with garlic, seasoned with rosemary and thyme

Suikerbossie, The premier function venue, has two venues available and hosts and caters for:

The Downstairs Venue [LARGER FUNCTIONS]
Minimum of 120 guests - maximum of 300.
A non-refundable venue hire of R6000 confirms booking. Included are waiters, bar staff, tables, chairs, white linen,
cutlery, crockery, glasses & ice.
The wedding ceremony can be held in the garden at no
extra charge - gazebo, chairs, umbrellas and the use of
our sound system can be utilised to announce the arrival
of the bride. A bad-weather plan can be made with the
ceremony taking place in the restaurant and the use of a
red carpet can be made available for the bride's entrance.
A log fire in our stone fireplace creates a warm and cosy
atmosphere.

Evening function1: 17h00 - 24h00

The Upstairs Venue [SMALLER FUNCTIONS]
The upstairs venue caters for small, intimate functions.
Minimum of 50 guests or a maximum of 70.
A non-refundable deposit of R3000 confirms your booking.

Morning function: 09h30 - 15h00 (wedding)
Evening function: 19h30 - 01h00 (office / birthday party) |

The host shall notify Suikerbossie 7 days prior to the function date of the final number of guests. Suikerbossie shall not
be obliged to adjust the final attendance figure within 7 days of the function. Management will invoice the host with the
final invoice which must be settled 48 hours prior to function by direct deposit / bank guaranteed cheque or in cash.
The host will advise the restaurant to which option the bar will be run i.e. cash bar / wine, malt and colddrinks / or a full
bar with a limit. The host has the option to set a new limit during the course of the function. The bar bill must be settled
on the day / night of the function.

Beth Din Fees of R9 + vat per person are paid to Union of Orthodox Synagogues of South Africa is added to meal bills.
Mashgich fees while preparing and during functions is included in the price per head and paid by the restaurant.
10% service fee is added on meal bill. Accounts to be settled on day of function. Fully licensed.
